The Northern Slopes Zone is a large area stretching from the north of Central Ranges and the Hunter Valley to the Queensland border.
The zone includes all the New South Wales territory south of the Granite Belt in Queensland, which seems already to be overflowing with vines into the Tenterfield and Glen Innes areas of New South Wales.
Perhaps in future, a cross-border region may result. Other areas such as Armidale might well prove suitable as vineyards sites. Frosts may present ongoing problems.
