In this region on the northern side of the Balaton Lake, there are two types of wine: the stronger fuller and extract-richer kind from Balatonfüred, and the leaner, lighter, and more elegant one from Csopak.

Balatonfüred-Csopak is on the north side of the Balaton Lake, between Zanka and Balatonalmadi. The soil is made up of volcanic rock, prime for viniculture. The soils make for a beautiful scenery in the autumn as well.
