These three regions are spread out around the Bieler Lake. Chasselas, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Spicy Traminer and Blue Burgundy are among the vines cultivated.
In Neuenburg the Oeil de Perdrix, a rosé wine made exclusively from Pinot Noir. Other popular types from Neuenburg are Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and the Spicy Traminer.
Vully is the only large vineyard in Freiburg. The Chasselas dominates, and Vully is labeled as its origin.
Other specialties are Riesling x Silvan, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Spicy Traminer, Pinot Noir and Gamay.
On the terraced vineyards on the slopes of the Bieler Lake in Bern Chasselas, a light Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris are grown. Good vintages allow further processing to dessert wines. Another vine that is mostly grown in Bern is the Blue Burgundy.
