This DOC is for a smooth, juicy, deliciously orange scneted sweet dessert wine.
The wine from the Greco-grape in Bianco is the specialty of several small vineyards on the southern coast of the farthestmost tip of Italy/ The production is being improved in some areas. A dry, barrel-ripened white dessert or aperitif wine is also made from the Bianco. It is made from Mantonico and its aroma reminds us of lemons. The minimum alcohol content of the wines is 12%.
Among the vines used are Gaglioppo, Greco nero, Malvasia bianca, Mantonico bianco, and Percorella.
